As this newsletter reaches you are we are all settling down to the new normal that the Covid-19 Pandemic has imposed on us. 

As a result, the closure of most businesses during this period has impacted our project programme and has the potential to create further, at this time unknown, consequential delays. We will keep you all updated on any impact with the local community.


The piling works are now complete. We will be starting with the major groundworks part of the project, removing soil off site to create the new basement. This work will continue for the next four to six weeks. This will mean an increase in the number of articulated lorry’s entering and exiting the site. We will endeavour to keep the impact on traffic and pedestrians at the site entrance minimized as much as possible during this period and apologize for any inconvenience caused. For your safety we will be asking people to stop either side of the gate when lorries are entering and exiting the site. Construction of the basement and ground floor will start in July 20 and continue until approximately December 20.

Access to the site

Currently all construction access is through Gate 2 on Harold’s Cross Road. Completion of the final excavation of the basement will mean a switch of access to the site from the gate on Harold’s Cross Road moved to Fitzpatrick’s Lane through Gate 1. This change will be towards the end of June/ early July.

Site security

Netwatch Camera Security will be placed around the perimeter of the site on the hoarding line with audible alarms issued to any intruders.

Working hours

The site will be open and operational during the following hours:

Weekdays – 07h00 to 18h00

Saturdays – 08h00 to 14h00
